Marketing Officer (Retail & Community Mall)

About the role

The Hub Karen is seeking a Marketing Officer to drive footfall, enhance brand presence and support the mall’s vision of becoming Nairobi’s leading family destination. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and external partners to plan, execute and evaluate a wide range of promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement marketing strategies aimed at achieving key performance metrics.
• Organise a calendar of events such as product launches, exhibitions, workshops and fundraising activities.
• Conduct market research to identify target groups and optimal channels for increasing visitor numbers.
• Design, execute and monitor marketing campaigns, preparing ROI and impact reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders, vendors and agencies to ensure successful delivery of campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Prepare and manage marketing budgets, monitor expenses and produce monthly expenditure reports.
• Create and maintain customer research databases for ongoing research activities.
• Develop, proofread and distribute marketing materials across print, digital and social media platforms.
• Update social media channels to drive engagement and coordinate the production of promotional assets.
• Generate media and press releases, and support mall presentations.
