Operations Manager – Multi‑Branch Healthcare Operations

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead and coordinate day‑to‑day activities across all Focus Clinical and Diagnostics Centre branches. Reporting to Directors and Senior Management, the role ensures consistent service quality, efficient resource use, and timely operational reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and monitor daily operations of every branch, ensuring adherence to policies, SOPs and service standards.
• Conduct regular branch visits, operational reviews and spot checks, identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee Centre/Branch Coordinators, managing targets for staffing, customer service, supplies, revenue controls and facility readiness.
• Escalate significant operational, clinical‑support, financial, staffing, technology or compliance risks to senior leadership.
• Support the opening, commissioning and stabilisation of new branches and the launch of new services.
• Utilise the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) to generate, review and present performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Clinical, Nursing, Laboratory and Pharmacy teams to improve data quality and system utilisation.
• Maintain operational dashboards and branch scorecards covering key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑site operations and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hospital Information Management System (HIMS) or similar healthcare information platforms.
