Place Manager – Food, Beverage & Entertainment

About the role

The Place Manager will oversee food and beverage services, entertainment, and recreational activities for Jake's Place. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure operations meet mission requirements, government standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily food, beverage, entertainment and recreation operations, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Control budgets, monitor costs, and achieve financial performance targets while maintaining service quality.
• Lead and supervise staff, providing training and performance feedback.
• Handle customer service issues, event coordination and vendor relationships.
• Maintain accurate inventory, sales and financial reporting using POS systems.

Required profile

• A four‑year degree in business management, food, hospitality or a related field, OR at least three years of relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of middle‑manager experience in a civilian commercial food, beverage, hospitality or entertainment setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication and multitasking abilities.
• Valid passport with at least one year of validity and ability to obtain required visas and certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and related inventory/financial software.
