Power Platform Consultant

About the role

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Power Platform Consultant to support its Chief Digital Office in advancing digital transformation initiatives. The consultant will design, develop, and maintain low‑code/no‑code solutions that automate UNEP’s business processes and enhance service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in business automation projects using PowerApps, Power Automate (Power Flows), and Jira.
• Develop system schemas, data dictionaries, functional specifications, and user documentation.
• Gather user requirements, translate them into digital applications, and address integration challenges.
• Collaborate with developers on PHP, PowerApps, and back‑end databases (MySQL, Dataverse, MS SQL).
• Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot existing solutions while providing ongoing user support.
• Draft correspondence and communications related to project activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in low‑code/no‑code automation and digital workflow development.
• Strong analytical skills for business analysis and functional specification writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, UN‑environment.
