Power Platform Consultant – Low-code Business Automation

About the role

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Power Platform Consultant to support the enhancement of its Automated Publication System and to design new low‑code/no‑code automation solutions for internal digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the service enhancement and backup migration for the Automated Publication System.
• Design, develop, and deploy low‑code/no‑code business automation and workflow solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Create automation for Digital Workspace, flexible working arrangements, and the travel portal.
• Produce detailed business analysis, functional requirement documentation, and technical specifications for each solution.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational and security standards.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end‑users and support teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering Power Platform solutions in a corporate or public‑sector environment.
• Strong understanding of low‑code/no‑code development principles and workflow automation.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with system migration and data backup strategies is an advantage.
