About the role
The Regional Sales Manager for Greater Nairobi will own the commercial performance of the electric business in the region. Reporting to national leadership, you will be responsible for sales growth, profitability, customer quality and operational execution across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
- Drive overall regional business performance across all assigned channels and clusters.
- Implement the regional commercial strategy to meet national growth objectives.
- Lead field sales execution, agent productivity and channel expansion to achieve sustainable sales growth.
- Manage profitability through efficient deployment of people, stock, operational resources and cost controls.
- Oversee customer acquisition, onboarding, repayment efficiency, usage and retention.
- Ensure high‑quality customer experience through proactive issue resolution and coordination with CX and Aftersales teams.
- Coach, mentor and performance‑manage STLs, TLs, clerks, retention representatives and field sales agents.
- Maintain stock accountability, daily reconciliations, ageing management and loss‑prevention controls.
- Identify commercial opportunities, operational gaps and performance risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide accurate business reporting, regional insights and recovery plans to leadership.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of field sales management experience.
- Proven experience managing distributed field teams in FMCG, PAYGO, energy or telecom sectors.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable growth.
