Relationship Officer – Banking Customer Portfolio

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited, trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec, is a manpower management firm operating across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan. On behalf of a leading financial institution, it is recruiting a Relationship Officer in Kenya. The officer builds and maintains relationships with existing and prospective banking customers, identifies business opportunities and delivers excellent customer service, while ensuring compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers and act as the main point of contact for assigned portfolios
• Visit customers regularly, hold check-ins and business reviews, and foster a customer-centric service culture
• Pursue new business opportunities and cross-sell banking products such as deposits, loans, cards, digital banking and insurance
• Achieve targets for customer acquisition, deposit growth and loan portfolio growth, and track portfolio performance
• Resolve escalated complaints and monitor customer feedback to drive service improvements
• Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations, including KYC and AML, and keep accurate customer records
• Support relationship campaigns and generate regular portfolio and productivity reports with recommendations

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, relationship management or sales
• At least 1 year of portfolio or team leadership experience
• Proven track record of meeting sales and relationship targets

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
