Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Priworth is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Nairobi office. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will design, develop, and maintain robust back‑end systems that power the company’s marketing automation tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable back‑end services using modern frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient code and ensure high‑quality software releases.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, fixing bugs and optimizing performance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software development.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science concepts, including coding, AI, agents, and automation.
• Proven experience in back‑end web development and software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to analyse complex problems and devise efficient technical solutions.
• Experience working in an agile environment and delivering projects on time.
