Shop Attendant – Retail Sales Support

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, customer‑oriented Shop Attendant to support our alcohol wholesale business in Nairobi. You will assist trade and retail customers in selecting wines, spirits and other beverages while delivering high‑quality service and helping drive sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to trade and retail customers, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Assist customers in choosing suitable wine, spirits and beverage products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑merchandised sales area.
• Ensure accurate stock levels through proper shelving, rotation and inventory awareness.
• Support receiving, checking and stocking of incoming deliveries.
• Keep up‑to‑date product knowledge, including brands, pricing, pack sizes and promotions.
• Process sales orders and transactions accurately using point‑of‑sale or order management systems.
• Support sales initiatives, promotions and product launches.
• Comply with company policies, legal requirements and alcohol sales regulations.

Required profile

• Reliable and customer‑oriented attitude.
• Entry‑level candidates with at least 12 months of retail or sales experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow regulatory standards.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
