Stock Controller – Warehouse & Satellites

About the role

The Stock Controller will monitor stock levels across warehouses and satellite stores, reconcile records, prevent losses and ensure timely replenishment of medical and non‑medical supplies for the hospital and its outreach centres.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned warehouse or sub‑store, service material requests and ensure accurate, timely issue of items.
• Receive inventory from vendors against purchase orders, verify quantity and quality, and forward invoices to Finance.
• Maintain accurate posting of transactions, conduct quarterly stock takes and recommend optimum replenishment quantities.
• Stack items safely, verify quality of goods, manage expiries and obsolete stock, and support purchase assistant functions.
• Prepare daily checklists, monthly bulk SPR reports, slow‑moving inventory reports and QVR reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or related field.
• At least two years of experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Membership of CIPS, CILT or KISM is an advantage.
• Ability to lift heavy boxes, climb and bend, and work on a team with initiative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office – especially MS Excel and MS Word.
• Knowledge of warehousing and stocking processes.
