About the role
The Trade Development Representative (GA) will report to the Team Leader – Indirect Sales and focus on acquiring new SME customers and driving revenue growth for enterprise solutions. The role involves direct and indirect sales activities, relationship management, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across the assigned region.
Key responsibilities
- Meet overall revenue and acquisition targets for the territory.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities offering enterprise solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, providing education and awareness of enterprise offerings.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve set revenue goals.
- Monitor gross adds targets and activate relevant sales channels.
- Profile businesses in the territory and keep an up‑to‑date database.
- Develop and implement a route plan covering the entire region.
- Submit market opportunity reports and address identified gaps.
- Proactively resolve customer issues to achieve excellent satisfaction ratings.
- Maintain accurate market intelligence, competitor insights, and timely territory reports.
Required profile
- Honors Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or a Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling enterprise solutions, either directly or through partners.
- Experience managing indirect channels in a telecom environment is an advantage.
- Strong business acumen, resilience, and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid certificate of good conduct.
- Ability to speak the local language of the operating area.
