Network Implementation Engineer

About the role

NTT DATA is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer to design, deploy, and support enterprise networking solutions for our clients. You will work on a variety of technologies, from LAN/WAN to cloud networking, ensuring secure and high‑performing infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, MPLS, SD‑WAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions.
• Install and integrate routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Design scalable and secure network architectures and integrate them with servers, cloud platforms, security tools, and VoIP systems.
• Diagnose and resolve network outages, latency, routing, DNS, and security incidents; perform root‑cause analysis.
• Implement network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS, access controls, and segmentation.
• Monitor bandwidth, uptime, traffic flow, and system health; tune performance and recommend upgrades.
• Lead or support deployment projects, migrations, upgrades, and data‑center transitions, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, asset registers, SOPs, and incident reports; produce technical reports for customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computing, or a related field.
• Professional networking certifications (must have CCNP) and experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Sophos, Fortinet, etc.
• Minimum 3 years of technical or implementation engineering experience in networking technologies.
• Proven ability to engage with clients, deliver presentations, and produce clear documentation.
• Strong verbal communication and a proactive, client‑focused attitude.
