Accountant Officer II (Entry Level)

About the role

The President's Award - Kenya (PA-K), an agency established by the President's Award Act (CAP 216C) and a franchise of the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, is recruiting an Accountant Officer II (Advert No. PAK-ACC/005/2026) based in Nairobi. This is an entry-level, permanent and pensionable post with a salary scale of 36,500 to 59,000 KES and a closing date of 17 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare payment vouchers for staff and suppliers in line with the rules and regulations
• Prepare staff imprests, surrenders and claims
• Prepare revenue receipts
• Prepare sales invoices for approval and dispatch
• Take part in stock takes and in preparing the books of accounts
• Take part in the budget-making process and its revision
• File documents

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Business Management (Finance option) or another relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
• Proficiency in computer applications
