Accounts/Economics Teacher

About the role

Oshwal Academy, a private international school in Nairobi offering the British curriculum, is seeking a dedicated Accounts/Economics Teacher. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team to deliver high‑quality instruction to students from primary through secondary levels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accounts and economics aligned with the British National Curriculum.
• Prepare students for examinations, conduct assessments and grade work accurately.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Develop and update curriculum materials, teaching guidelines and resources.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in the relevant subject area (e.g., B.Ed. in Accounting/Economics).
• Minimum four years of teaching experience in the subject.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
• Experience with the British curriculum is an advantage.
