About the role
The University seeks an enthusiastic Adjunct Faculty member to teach Introduction to Physical Mechanics to undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Data Analytics programmes. This full‑time position involves both classroom instruction and practical lab supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and assess the Introduction to Physical Mechanics course for undergraduate students.
- Prepare, mark, and provide feedback on practical reports and lab assignments.
- Support and mentor students in their academic and career development.
- Participate in curriculum development to keep content current and market‑relevant.
- Contribute to program assessment, reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the department.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum three years of university‑level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability to teach introductory physics to students from diverse disciplines such as health sciences, engineering, and computing.
- Strong computer proficiency and self‑motivation.
