American Sign Language Interpreter (Part‑Time/Flex)

About the role

Under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, you will provide high‑quality American Sign Language interpreting on‑site at various customer locations. This part‑time/flexible position supports the company’s mission to deliver accessible communication services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective on‑site ASL interpreting for consumers at scheduled locations.
• Maintain professional behavior, punctuality, and accurate record‑keeping for each shift.
• Adhere to company policies, the NAD‑RID Code of Professional Conduct, and complete required training.

Required profile

• Fluent in American Sign Language and spoken English.
• Good understanding of Deaf culture and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to travel with a valid driver’s license and insurance when needed.

Required skills

• Accurate interpreting skills following the NAD‑RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Strong interpersonal skills for respectful interaction with customers and colleagues.
