Assistant Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in running daily store operations, ensuring customers receive excellent service, technicians have clear direction, and sales opportunities are captured. This hands‑on leadership position requires you to step in whenever the store needs guidance, quality control, or a decisive decision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workflow, maintain quality standards, and keep the shop floor productive.
• Coach, direct, and hold team members accountable while developing individual performance.
• Answer incoming calls, turn them into appointments, and guide customers through estimates and repair recommendations.
• Coordinate vehicle status with technicians, obtain approvals, and keep repair orders moving efficiently.
• Ensure inspections are completed correctly, verify repairs, and protect the customer experience by preventing avoidable comebacks.

• Coachable, disciplined, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills to set the tone for every customer interaction.
• Ability to step up when the Store Manager is unavailable.
