About the role
Assistant Trainer – Computer Science / IT will deliver competence‑based training in computer science and information technology within the TVET institute of Kenya Methodist University. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Meru and requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology together with CBET/CBA and pedagogy training. The role supports the university’s mission to provide high‑quality technical education in a TVET environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with CBET/CBA and pedagogy training.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Highly organized and hard‑working.
