Behavior Analyst – Community Homes

About the role

Springbrook is seeking a qualified Behavior Analyst to lead the development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals with challenging behaviors in community home settings. This hybrid position requires on‑site work three days a week and occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (direct and indirect) and regular behavior observations.
• Develop, write, and implement evidence‑based behavior support plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
• Create data‑collection systems, monitor, graph, and analyze behavioral data.
• Provide direct care and model interventions for staff in residential or day‑hab settings.
• Respond to crisis calls and assist with behavioral emergencies.
• Supervise BCBAs in training and consult with other professionals.
• Participate in team meetings, psychiatric appointments, and communicate status to families.

Required profile

• BCBA certification or NY LBA with a Master’s degree.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lb independently and assist with heavier loads.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Springbrook vehicle requirements.
