Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive growth for Eastern Software Systems by generating qualified leads and promoting our flagship ERP, Business Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation solutions to new customers across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for effective lead generation.
• Generate a monthly target of qualified leads for ERP software.
• Generate a monthly target of qualified leads for Business Intelligence (BI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) services.
• Schedule sales meetings and appointments with top‑level management.
• Maintain a detailed prospects database.
• Promote ERP, BI and RPA solutions to prospective clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations for prospects.
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships to increase customer lifetime value.

Required profile

• Graduate in Sales & Marketing or Business Management.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in ERP sales and marketing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of handling pressure and maintaining a professional self‑image.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
• Understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) services.
