About the role

Join 4G Capital’s KUZA initiative as a Business Development Manager, driving financial inclusion for micro‑entrepreneurs across Kenya. You will own a field territory, identify high‑potential distributors and retailers, and turn prospects into thriving clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute systematic route plans to uncover untapped market opportunities.
• Map and engage distributors, treating each as a gateway to multiple retail businesses.
• Generate and qualify cold leads, building a robust pipeline of retailer contacts.
• Partner with internal telesales to convert leads, maintain collection rates, and ensure portfolio health.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews with distribution partners to set growth targets and resolve bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in FMCG, wholesale, or channel‑driven distribution networks.
• Proven ability to prospect cold leads and overcome initial rejections.
• Resilient, field‑tested mindset with strong relationship‑building skills.
