About the role

The Business Development Manager – Legal will lead the firm’s growth agenda, shaping market positioning and driving high‑value client acquisition across multiple jurisdictions. Reporting to senior leadership, the role oversees tenders, bids, and RFP processes while fostering senior‑level client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute firm‑wide business development strategies, targeting priority sectors and jurisdictions.
• Lead end‑to‑end management of tenders, bids, and RFPs, establishing governance frameworks and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain senior‑level client relationships and collaborate with Partners on engagement strategies.
• Mentor internal business development teams and build a centralized knowledge base of proposals and credentials.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of business development experience within law firms or professional services.
• Proven leadership in managing international tenders, bids, and RFPs.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
