About the role
The Butchery Assistant works at the supermarket’s butchery counter, preparing and displaying a range of meat products while providing friendly service to customers. This is an on‑site, full‑time position based in Nairobi.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cut, and arrange meat cuts for display according to store standards.
- Assist customers with product selection, answer queries, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the butchery area, following safety regulations.
Required profile
- Kenyan citizen, 18 years or older, with a valid National ID.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Disciplined, reliable and able to work well within a team.
Required skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
