Community Officer (Kinyarwanda-speaking)

About the role

Join BrighterMonday Consulting as a Community Officer focused on building and nurturing our new Rwandan community. You will be the primary point of contact for both job seekers and employers, ensuring fast, helpful support and fostering ongoing engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑line community support across calls, email, WhatsApp and social media for both job seekers and employers.
• Design and run recurring community touchpoints such as WhatsApp groups, newsletters and monthly clinics.
• Onboard Rwandan universities and TVETs, train career services teams and help students build profiles.
• Engage employers, answer platform questions and support partnership and commercial activities in‑market.
• Plan and deliver events and webinars for job seekers and employers, handling logistics and live support.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and provide monthly insight reports.
• Identify emerging market needs and help shape new initiatives.

Required profile

• At least two years of relevant experience or a recent graduate who has led a society, business or campaign.
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English; French is a plus.
• Excellent written communication, able to adapt tone for students and HR managers.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to document processes.
• Familiarity with Kigali’s universities and student communities.
• Reliable internet connection and a functional home office.
