E-commerce S&CM Manager – Nairobi

About the role

The E‑commerce S&CM Manager will enable Beiersdorf’s online sales teams to meet their targets and maximise brand visibility across the digital landscape in Kenya. Working closely with local brand teams and the global e‑commerce function, you will translate national brand plans into tailored online concepts and drive performance on retailer.com and other e‑commerce portals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy local “perfect store online” standards and ensure timely e‑retail content rollout.
• Own retailer.com media planning, activation and ROI optimisation, including e‑com specific promotions and pack development.
• Coordinate merchandise selection for pure‑player and multichannel accounts to maximise sales, margin and brand consistency.
• Develop A+ content, SEO‑driven product pages, brand stores and visibility banners; manage full product detail page (PDP) performance.
• Analyse product placement, shopper behaviour and web analytics to identify assortment gaps and emerging opportunities.
• Lead the in‑house digital agency on campaign creation, creative execution and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• BComm or Marketing degree (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of e‑commerce or shopper‑customer experience, preferably in Health & Beauty/FMCG.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities; capable of turning data into actionable plans.
• Proven negotiation and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent presentation and communication capabilities.
