Digital Impact Manager – Regional T4D (Fixed‑Term, P‑4)

About the role

The Digital Impact Manager (Regional T4D) will lead the design, deployment and sustainability of technology‑for‑development (T4D) interventions for UNICEF’s Country Office in Kenya. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that digital solutions address programme bottlenecks and align with UNICEF’s Technology Playbook.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the identification, concept design and deployment of T4D interventions to support programme results.
• Oversee solution procurement, review technical proposals, draft terms of reference and support vendor selection.
• Provide implementation advice, technical oversight and troubleshooting for digital initiatives.
• Manage business and programme relationships to translate high‑level requirements into appropriate T4D solutions.
• Integrate digital development and innovation into programme planning and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and implement the country‑level technology and digital innovation strategy, highlighting gaps and scale‑up opportunities.
• Lead quality‑assurance activities during planning and deployment of T4D projects.
• Support ICT emergency preparedness and related contingency planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital solution implementation and technology management within development or humanitarian contexts.
• Experience in procurement processes, vendor evaluation and contract management.
• Ability to provide technical oversight, troubleshoot issues and document resolutions.
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills to align business requirements with technical design.
• Experience in integrating digital innovation into programme cycles and ensuring compliance with organisational standards.
