Digital Impact Manager (Regional T4D) – Nairobi

About the role

UNICEF is looking for a Digital Impact Manager to provide strategic guidance and technical oversight for Technology for Development (T4D) interventions across the country office. The role will ensure that digital solutions are designed, procured, and deployed in line with UNICEF standards and contribute to programme results.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the identification, design, and deployment of T4D interventions to address programme bottlenecks.
• Review technical solutions to ensure compliance with UNICEF’s Technology Playbook and standards.
• Support procurement processes, including drafting terms of reference and vendor selection.
• Advise on implementation strategies, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions for digital initiatives.
• Manage business relationships to capture high‑level requirements and align solutions with programme priorities.
• Integrate digital development and innovation into programme planning and management cycles.
• Lead the development and implementation of the country’s digital innovation strategy, highlighting gaps and scaling opportunities.
• Oversee quality assurance during planning and deployment of T4D projects.
