Director of Marketing

About the role

We are seeking a senior, data‑driven Director of Marketing to lead our marketing function from Kenya. The role combines strategic ownership with hands‑on execution, driving brand awareness into measurable revenue and scalable growth across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the end‑to‑end marketing strategy covering acquisition, conversion, retention, lifecycle, brand, content and community.
• Lead marketing analytics, reporting on channel performance, customer behavior, CAC, ROAS, conversion and LTV.
• Develop deep customer insights and translate them into optimized journeys from discovery to advocacy.
• Manage profitable customer acquisition and ticket sales through paid media, SEO and other growth channels.
• Oversee e‑commerce and digital conversion, including landing pages, offers, booking journeys and checkout experiences.
• Create repeatable playbooks for launching and scaling new locations in partnership with Operations.
• Identify and test new channels, audiences, partnerships and creative concepts.
• Drive retention and loyalty programs via email, SMS, memberships, referrals and re‑activation.
• Protect and evolve the brand, leading content, social, influencer, PR and community activation.
• Lead, coach and develop the Marketing team while staying close to performance data.

• Proven senior marketing leadership experience in high‑growth, multi‑market environments.
• Strong commercial mindset with a track record of turning brand initiatives into revenue.
• Data‑driven decision making and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent collaboration skills with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
