Marketing Associate – Retail & Publishing

About the role

The Marketing Associate will support HalfPriced Books by planning, executing and monitoring both digital and traditional marketing initiatives. The role aims to increase brand visibility, drive sales and engage readers across online and offline channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and publish content for the website, social media, and email newsletters, using tools such as Meta Business Suite and Hootsuite.
• Manage SEO optimisation and track performance with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Coordinate in‑store promotions, book fairs, community events and the production of print materials.
• Analyse campaign results, prepare reports and provide insights to guide future marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in retail, publishing or events.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities with a passion for books and literacy.
