East Africa Finance Lead

About the role

The East Africa Finance Lead will head the Finance function for all Bureau Veritas entities in the region, ensuring compliance with Group standards and local regulations while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the East Africa finance team, overseeing regional financial reporting, analysis, cash‑flow, and P&L.
• Prepare and control the annual budget, forecasts and investment decisions for the area.
• Identify and implement cost‑efficiency initiatives, particularly in Finance and IT, in partnership with Operational Excellence.
• Ensure statutory reporting, audit coordination and adherence to IFRS/GAAP, Group policies and local legal requirements.
• Develop talent within the finance team through coaching, recruitment and capability building.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; master’s preferred.
• CPA (K) or ACCA qualification.
• At least 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including 5 years in senior executive roles.
• Proven track record in strategic financial management within multinational environments.
• High integrity, strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills in English.
