Electrical Engineering Manager

About the role

The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead the design, execution, and compliance of wind farm electrical projects in Hyderabad. Reporting to the Head of Electrical Engineering, you will represent the engineering team in project meetings and drive technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project designs, ensuring they meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate engineering consultants, review and approve designs and documentation.
• Review equipment test reports and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct load flow analysis, short‑circuit studies, and power system studies for wind farms.
• Ensure compliance with Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, CEA, and utility regulations.
• Support cost estimation, financial modelling, and feasibility analysis for wind energy projects.

Required profile

• B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in wind farm electrical design, substations, and EHV transmission lines (up to 400 kV).
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Passion for renewable energy and continuous learning.

Required skills

• ETAP, PSCAD, AutoCAD.
• Load flow analysis, short‑circuit studies, power system studies.
• HV/MV/EHV electrical systems for wind projects.
• Cost estimation, financial modelling, feasibility analysis.
