Electronic Forensic Investigator

About the role

The Electronic Forensic Investigator will lead fraud prevention and detection initiatives across KCB Bank. Using advanced analytical techniques and technology, the role conducts investigations, prepares detailed reports, and raises fraud risk awareness throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement proactive fraud prevention strategies and detective mechanisms.
• Carry out fraud risk assessments and facilitate training on fraud detection.
• Conduct electronic forensic investigations using best‑practice tools and methodologies.
• Prepare comprehensive investigation reports and provide guidance within defined SLAs.
• Recommend improvements to fraud management while minimizing customer impact.
• Track fraud trends, update the fraud database, and produce periodic summaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Banking, Law, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CFIP, CFE, CISA, CSM or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations.
• At least 5 years of analytical experience in forensic investigations and fraud detection.
• Demonstrated leadership handling high‑profile assignments in a dynamic environment.
