Finance Analyst – Supply Chain (UDV)

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join Diageo’s supply chain finance team in Nairobi. The role will support budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis for our manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate cost reporting and driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in supply‑chain planning activities, delivering budgets, long‑range plans, re‑forecasts and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Prepare and review cost‑center reports, conducting monthly reviews with department heads.
• Track waste and repair‑maintenance budgets weekly, leading corrective‑action discussions with engineers.
• Provide insights on cost drivers during monthly performance sessions and generate performance reports.
• Review, analyse and interpret product costing, updating post‑production data.
• Audit production data, support process‑improvement initiatives across the supply value chain.
• Act as an internal consultant, fostering teamwork and improving information flows.
• Assist non‑finance peers in enhancing financial capability, leveraging SAP tools.
• Work on ad‑hoc projects assigned by the Head of Supply Finance.

Required profile

• Business‑related degree or equivalent (ACCA/CPA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance role within manufacturing or cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of production processes and supply‑chain finance.
• Proactive attitude, teamwork orientation and ability to communicate with operations teams.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with analytical tools for cost analysis and reporting.
• Cost accounting expertise.
