Finance Manager

About the role

TGL Credit is looking for a full-time, on-site Finance Manager in Nairobi. The role oversees the institution's financial operations, ensures regulatory compliance, strengthens financial controls and gives strategic financial advice to management. The deadline for applications is 16 November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, income and expenditure.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws and reporting standards, including CBK and DCP requirements and timely submission of regulatory reports.
• Develop and maintain internal financial controls and monitor performance to recommend improved profitability.
• Manage treasury operations and financial resource allocation.
• Oversee reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable and the general ledger.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and identify, assess and mitigate financial risks.
• Advise management on financial strategy and business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• CPA (K), ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance and financial management.
• High levels of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
