Forward Deployed Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join a leading global IT services firm on a full‑time remote basis. In this role you will work directly with enterprise customers to deploy, integrate, and optimise AI solutions, ensuring smooth adoption and high performance in production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure AI/ML models and supporting infrastructure for large‑scale enterprise clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real‑time to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather feedback and refine solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployed systems.
• Provide technical leadership through customer training, best‑practice guidance, and proactive support.

Required profile

• Proven experience deploying and scaling AI/ML models in production.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to diagnose complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
