Front Office Receptionist – Hotel

About the role

The Boma Hotel is seeking a professional Front Office Receptionist to deliver exceptional guest experiences in its Westlands location. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling arrivals, departures and inquiries while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest check‑in and check‑out procedures using OPERA PMS.
• Handle reservations, room allocations and maintain accurate guest profiles.
• Process payments, billing and cash reconciliation at the front desk.
• Address guest complaints promptly and coordinate service recovery.
• Identify upselling opportunities for rooms, facilities and F&B services.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and ensure professional grooming.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of front office or reception experience, preferably in a 4‑star/5‑star hotel.
• Experience with OPERA PMS and front office cashiering.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and guest‑relations skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to handle corporate, VIP and group guests.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OPERA PMS.
• Good computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office.
