Director of Finance – Luxury Hotel/Resort in Kenya

About the role

We seek an experienced Director of Finance with international experience for a luxury resort in Kenya, part of a highly respected international hospitality group. The role reports to the General Manager and works closely with senior group and property leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership across the resort.
• Oversee financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, compliance and commercial analysis.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• Significant senior finance experience within international and recognized hotel groups.
• International work experience – essential; East Africa experience strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Professional finance qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Excellent understanding of hotel finance, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with a General Manager and Executive Committee.
• Strong leadership capability and experience developing high‑performing finance teams.
• Exceptional integrity, commercial acumen, analytical ability and attention to detail.
