Goods Delivery Driver

About the role

Vegan World Ltd is seeking a reliable Goods Delivery Driver to transport products safely to customers, retail outlets, and warehouses across Nairobi and occasional up‑country locations. The role requires punctual, professional handling of goods and a strong focus on road safety.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to assigned destinations following planned routes.
• Load and unload items, checking quantities and condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Reconcile stock at loading points to ensure record accuracy.
• Inspect the vehicle daily and report any mechanical issues or incidents.
• Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Provide courteous customer service and communicate with the office via approved channels.
• Keep the vehicle clean, secure, and well‑maintained.
• Perform up‑country deliveries when required.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• At least 24 months of proven experience as a goods or distribution driver.
• Good knowledge of Nairobi routes and traffic patterns.

• Safe and disciplined driving habits.
• Ability to verify delivery details and handle paperwork accurately.
• Basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
