GRC Implementation Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced GRC Implementation Consultant to lead the end‑to‑end deployment of the Diligent GRC platform for our clients. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, audit, risk and compliance teams, as well as IT and executive leadership to ensure successful adoption of governance, risk, audit, compliance and policy management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full implementation lifecycle of the Diligent GRC platform, from requirements gathering to go‑live.
• Configure workflows, forms, dashboards, reporting structures and user roles to match client needs.
• Coordinate data migration, validation and testing activities, and support integration with existing enterprise systems.
• Deliver administrator and end‑user training, develop user guides, SOPs and other training materials.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including business requirements, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts and implementation reports.
• Facilitate workshops with GRC stakeholders, translate business needs into functional specifications and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Internal Audit or related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA or IIA are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an internal audit role.
• Hands‑on exposure to ACL, Galvanize or Diligent GRC products (desired).
• Experience with audit management software such as Caseware Idea, TeamMate, Barnowl or Arbutus.
• Training or facilitation experience (desired).
• Strong proficiency with MS Office.
• Must be a Kenyan citizen.
