Senior Statistical Programmer (Clinical Data)

About the role

The Senior Statistical Programmer will design, develop, and quality‑control SAS programs that transform clinical trial data into CDISC‑compliant ADaM datasets, tables, figures, listings and submission packages. The role works closely with study teams, statisticians and clinical programmers to ensure data readiness for regulatory submission.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with study teams to design data structures and specifications for ADaM datasets, tables, figures, listings and submission packages.
• Lead the development, quality control and delivery of SAS programs for pooled and exploratory analyses, including ISS/ISE datasets.
• Oversee the creation of CDISC‑compliant outputs (SDTM, ADaM, define.xml) and ensure submission readiness.
• Develop and maintain global tools to improve efficiency of the statistical programming group.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of clinical or statistical programming experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical environment.
• Proven ability to lead programming activities across multiple studies and manage timelines independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Advanced SAS programming, including macro development.
• Hands‑on R programming.
• Deep knowledge of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM).
• Experience with creating submission‑ready datasets and define.xml.
