Head of Expert Engagement (SSA)

About the role

The Head of Expert Engagement (SSA) leads Haleon's end‑to‑end expert operation, overseeing Expert Engagement Leaders, Expert Marketing Managers, Omnichannel Activation Leads and Data Stewardship teams. This senior role drives the Omnichannel Transformation to increase expert recommendations, achieve brand‑recommended status and boost patient purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic direction for expert engagement across the region.
• Lead the development of expert objectives, business plans and resource allocation to maximise coverage, recommendation and conversion.
• Represent Haleon with Key Opinion Leaders, professional associations, government agencies and community groups.
• Build, motivate and manage high‑performing expert teams, fostering collaboration, agility and a culture of experimentation.
• Drive omnichannel transformation, monitor progress and develop team capabilities to meet strategic targets.
• Align cross‑functional partners with expert strategy and ensure effective targeting, digital channel management and content creation.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in expert engagement, medical affairs or commercial strategy within the consumer health or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong track record of leading large, multidisciplinary teams and delivering strategic initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging KOLs, associations and regulatory bodies.
• Strategic thinker with a data‑driven mindset and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
