Head of Partnership, Scaling Graduation with Governments in Africa

About the role

BRAC is seeking a senior leader to head partnerships that will scale the Ultra‑Poor Graduation approach with governments across Africa. The Ultra‑Poor Graduation Initiative (UPGI) aims to position the evidence‑backed Graduation model as a key driver to eradicate extreme poverty worldwide. The role will drive strategic engagement with national policymakers, multilateral institutions and NGOs to expand the programme’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Advocate for the adoption of the Graduation approach among African governments and regional bodies.
• Develop and manage high‑level partnerships to support technical assistance and capacity‑building initiatives.
• Coordinate with the UPGI team to adapt and implement the Graduation approach in diverse country contexts.
• Represent BRAC in policy forums, conferences and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor partnership performance and ensure alignment with BRAC’s development objectives.
