HORECA Sales Representative (Nairobi)

About the role

Java House Africa Ltd is looking for a dynamic HORECA Sales Representative to manage and grow its portfolio of hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering outlets and Java House (JOG) partner sites in Nairobi’s Westlands area. You will be the primary point of contact for both hospitality and JOG locations, driving sales through relationship building, product demonstrations and strategic account development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of HORECA accounts and JOG host partners, following structured call cycles and visit schedules.
• Identify, pitch and convert new business opportunities, including new kiosk and coffee‑station locations.
• Deliver coffee demonstrations, set up and calibrate espresso and brewing equipment at partner sites.
• Train partner staff on coffee preparation, equipment care and service standards.
• Handle order and supply management, ensuring timely fulfillment and accurate reporting.
• Maintain compliance with credit policies, collect outstanding payments and coordinate with Finance.
• Develop quarterly promotional plans, branding activations and participate in trade fairs and industry events.
• Act as the main contact for enquiries and complaints, resolving issues within 72 hours.
• Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports and keep the prospect pipeline updated.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant sales experience, preferably in hospitality or food‑service environments.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities with decision‑makers such as chefs, procurement managers and property owners.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Good numerical aptitude for order processing, credit assessment and sales reporting.
