Human Resource Manager

About the role

The Human Resource Manager will lead HR functions for Veenet Africa’s Nairobi office, ensuring policies, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance are effectively managed. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HR policies and employee‑relations frameworks.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and talent‑retention processes.
• Design and deliver training programmes and oversee performance‑evaluation cycles.
• Administer payroll, benefits, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Handle employee grievances and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws.
• Collaborate with management to align HR initiatives with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of employee relations, HR compliance, and labour legislation.
• Proficiency in recruitment, onboarding and talent‑retention strategies.
• Experience in performance management, training and career‑development planning.
• Proven ability to manage payroll, benefits administration and employee records.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
• Experience in a technology or connectivity‑infrastructure environment is advantageous.

Required skills
