Juice Barista – Fresh Beverage Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Juice Barista to join our vibrant café in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for preparing fresh juices, smoothies and wellness shots while delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and customise orders based on customer preferences.
• Operate heavy‑duty juicers, blenders and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety standards in the preparation area.
• Greet customers, take orders, provide product recommendations and handle feedback professionally.
• Monitor stock levels, receive deliveries, and ensure proper rotation using FIFO principles.
• Report equipment faults and perform routine cleaning and maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Service or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Juice Barista in a high‑end restaurant, café or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and food‑safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, customer‑focused setting.
