Junior Full-Stack Developer (Laravel/Livewire)

About the role

Vapor Technologies is looking for a Junior Full‑Stack Developer to join its engineering team in Nairobi. You will work closely with the founding engineer on production‑grade SaaS products and client projects, delivering new features and customisations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain features for client projects using Laravel and Livewire.
• Implement admin interfaces and dashboards with Filament.
• Work with MySQL databases and write clean, maintainable PHP code.
• Handle client‑facing customisation requests under senior guidance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a shared codebase across multiple products.
• Take full technical ownership of assigned features from development through deployment.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of Laravel (v11+) and Livewire.
• Familiarity with Filament, MySQL, and basic Alpine.js or Vue.js.
• Comfortable with Git‑based workflows.
• Some prior experience (internship, freelance, or junior role) building web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving instincts and eagerness to grow quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
