Lead Business Central Functional Consultant

About the role

Baran EPC, on behalf of BTN Group, is looking for a Microsoft‑certified Lead Business Central Functional Consultant to drive the end‑to‑end implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central across the Group and its subsidiaries. After rollout, you will become the permanent custodian of the platform, overseeing long‑term maintenance, optimisation and daily administration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure a multi‑company Business Central environment for independent subsidiary ledgers.
• Build automated consolidation pipelines for group‑level financial reporting and intercompany matching.
• Lead core module deployment and ensure seamless data sync with Microsoft Project Operations and third‑party systems.
• Direct data migration, cleansing, validation and define UAT strategy for business users.
• Manage system administration, licensing, security roles and tenant permissions across all subsidiaries.
• Monitor Microsoft release cycles, conduct impact assessments and perform regression testing.
• Audit performance, identify bottlenecks and implement continuous optimisations.
• Provide Level 2/3 functional support and act as primary liaison with Microsoft support.
• Maintain Power BI dashboards, Jet Reports and Power Automate workflows for corporate BI.

Required profile

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate (MB‑800) – mandatory.
• Preferably also certified in Power Platform (PL‑200) or Business Central Development (MB‑820).
• 3‑5 years of consulting or internal lead experience with Business Central implementations.
• Proven track record of at least two full‑lifecycle, multi‑subsidiary deployments.
• Strong knowledge of multi‑currency, multi‑entity financial setups.
