Marketing Manager – FMCG/Retail

About the role

A client in the retail sector, recruited through Summit Recruitment & Search, is looking for a results-driven Marketing Manager with experience in FMCG or retail. The role combines creative thinking with analytical expertise, focusing on data-driven insights to optimise campaign performance and grow the business across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run integrated marketing strategies, including campaigns across digital, in-store and traditional channels, and manage product launches and promotions
• Analyse sales data, customer behaviour and market trends, and track campaign performance (ROI, CAC, conversion rates)
• Build dashboards and reports for senior management and use insights to optimise marketing spend
• Carry out market research and competitor analysis, segment customers and identify growth opportunities
• Work with sales, merchandising and supply chain teams and manage relationships with external agencies and vendors
• Keep brand messaging consistent across channels and drive brand awareness and customer engagement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Economics or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage
• 5-8 years of marketing experience in FMCG or retail
• Proven track record of managing successful campaigns
• Experience working with large datasets and performance metrics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, project management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI or similar tools
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights
