About the role

Oshwal Academy, a private international school delivering the British curriculum, is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join its dynamic team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality music education to students across various year groups.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging music lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including exam preparation and grading.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Organize and lead school music events, performances, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the broader curriculum.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Music Education or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Minimum of four years of teaching experience in music.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Experience teaching the British National Curriculum is an advantage.
