NetSuite Architect

About the role

SALIX Data Africa is seeking a NetSuite Architect to lead the technical and functional design of NetSuite implementations for US‑based clients. The role sits at the intersection of business, finance and technology, translating complex operational needs into secure, scalable NetSuite solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end NetSuite solution architecture, covering core ERP, Advanced Financials and related modules.
• Design scalable, future‑proof environments aligned with client growth and regulatory requirements.
• Lead system design decisions across financials, procurement, inventory, revenue recognition and integrations.
• Oversee implementations, upgrades and complex enhancements, ensuring best‑practice customisations.
• Architect and govern integrations with third‑party systems such as CRM, billing, payroll and data warehouses.
• Ensure solutions meet SOX, audit readiness and US GAAP standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on NetSuite ERP experience.
• Proven experience as a NetSuite Architect, Senior Consultant or Lead Functional/Technical Consultant.
• Strong understanding of financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition).
• Experience supporting US‑based or multinational clients.

• NetSuite ERP platform.
• SuiteScript 2.x (and 1.0) development.
• SuiteFlow / workflow design.
• Saved Searches and Advanced Reporting.
• Integration using REST and SOAP APIs.
